Bridget O'Flaherty has found her way into the Real Estate world in 2005. She has always had an interest in properites for sale in her area and has always picked up real estate advertisers for entertainment. Her parents decided to purchase a home late in their lives and Bridget's interest helped them pin point the home they wanted and thus began her journey into the business end of it all.After completeing the education and graduating from The Ontario Real Estate College, she has launched herself in to a career she feels very comfortable in. Her business and social contacts have made the transition into this additional career very smooth.

Bridget O'Flaherty is a well known quilt artist from the Perth Ontario area. She and her husband live in rural Lanark with their two boys. The natural landscape of lakes, rolling hills and Canadian sheild are obvious as subjects in much of Bridget's work. Bridget's love of the local area is evident in her work as an artist. Bridget is a member of a local retail cooperative Riverguild Fine Crafts. Her work can be viewed at the gallery or online at Bridget's quilt website.

The community of Brooke Valley is where Bridget and her family are building their own home. On a 7 acre parcel of land, they are building an octagonal home which will be completely off grid, the plan now is to use solar and wind to power a 24voltDC system. You can view some of the progress here.

In Brooke Valley, their children attend a local private school which is cooperatively run and has an arts based curriculum. Bridget is involved as an admistrator to the school.
